KC is a Pirate!

I seriously don't know what the hell... I moved in with my best friend Lisa and her somewhat lanky husky, KC. I knew it was a bad idea! XD I've had crazier dreams living with her than I ever have. I don't know why but it had a very Jim Hensen feel to it.

I helped Lisa get KC ready for a sailing trip on this small sailing boat. Just the dog and the provisions we packed setting sail on a dark foreboding seas. I think that's what worried me is as KC sailed off there wsa this huge storm coming and I could see this great big serpent coiling around the clouds. He was sort of camouflaged but when the sun peeked out for just a moment, I caught a glimpse of him and his vicious blue eyes and then I watched KC sail away.

It was quite awhile later when Lisa and I met on the beach. It was a really sunny day and the waters were very clear. I guess she must've been late because we were pacing and the sun was beginning to set. Then we saw her on the horizon and the sailboat grew and grew and she finally hit the beach. The moment she did, gold coins spilled over the rim of the boat and we noticed the whole boat was FILLED with treasure. Two pirates had joined her on her journey and they all came onto the beach. We built a fire and sat around it to listen to KC's tales. It was spiffy because I saw her adventures as she spoke and she didn't speak, really, her mouth didn't move but the images were in my head and she seemed to be narrating it.

At first she toured the world, stopping in various port cities from Ireland to Japan. Then one day, she stumbled across an island and, curiously, investigated it. There she had to fight off scores of undead pirates and stumbled across these two scallywags in the process. They joined forces and as they were fighting off the undead pirates they stumbled into a cave... quite literally. They were pushed back and fell into a ravine but the ravine in this cave was actually an underground river. The waters, she told us, were a very clear azure blue and rushed them out of the cave into a deeper part of the underground. A place filled with treasure of all kinds. This cave opened up to the sea and right near their boat. They filled it and sailed away, narrowly escaping more undead pirates. They thought they were home free and spent many times laughing and drinking. One night, KC woke up to something bumping the boat. She saw a fin in the water and alerted her mates. What they thought was just a shark was a giant sea monster - something crossed between a shark and a squid. Lots of tentacles, lots of teeth and very fast! She leapt into the water while the two pirates fended off the tentacles and stabbed the thing right in its eye. It was spiffy to see KC with a sword in her jaws stabbing at this thing. Back to the boat, they sailed home and that's where we are now.

It was an awesome story and she brought us all kinds of souvenirs and oodles of treasure.
